Vivo to launch X9, X9 Plus smartphones in China Will Be Available on November 16

Vivo seems all geared up to launch its new smartphones in China. The company has released a teaser which reveals that it will launch X9 and X9 Plus smartphones on November 16.

The company has already confirmed that both the handsets will feature 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel, dual front-facing cameras. They are also expected to come with soft LED flash on the front.

The earlier leaked images also highlight physical home button which might be placed below the display with a fingerprint sensor embedded.

Both Vivo X9 and X9 Plus smartphones may feature a USB Type-C port and a slim body. The back panel appears similar to what those on Apple iPhone 7. The antenna lines are placed alongside the top and bottom bezels and the rear camera with LED flash is placed on the top corner. The 3.5mm headphone jack is at the bottom, while the volume and power buttons are on the right. As per the image, the handsets are shown in Gold colour variant.

Other rumoured features of the device include, 6GB RAM, ^4-bit in-built storage and Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor.

Earlier this year, Vivo launched its X7 and X7 Plus smartphones in China. Both these devices share almost similar specifications, except for the display size and battery capacity. Vivo X7 has a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution and 3,000mAh battery, while the Vivo X7 Plus has a 5.7-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution and a 4,000mAh battery.

In terms of specifications, both smartphones are powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. For imaging duties, both X7 and X7 Plus boast of 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 16MP front shooter (with LED flash) for selfies.

The company is yet to launch these smartphones in India.
