Two new Gionee smartphones uncovered by database Called Certification

Gionee is a brand synonymous with making premium camera phones. The company has had a decent presence in the Indian markets as well, which makes it quite popular with the masses here. It seems like the Chinese manufacturer is all set to take it to the next level with its new phones, known as the S9 and the S9T. 

The phones have been revealed by Chinese device certification authority, TENAA, revealing some hardware features along with the design of the handsets. We can tell that these won’t be low end offerings, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing as the mid-ranged segment is highly competitive as well. 

The S9 and the S9T are pretty much the same in terms of hardware specs, but the latter is sporting a slightly faster CPU and will apparently be available in multiple colors, including Gold. 

There’s no pricing information available as of yet, but we expect the handsets to be priced competitively to rival the existing camera phones in the market.
