Vivo to launch X9 smartphone in China
Vivo seems all geared up to launch its new smartphone in China. As per the rumours, the company may launch its X9 smartphone on November 17 next month.
According to a fresh leak on Chinese social network Weibo, the X9 will come with a dual-camera setup having Sony Exmor IMX 260 lenses. The leak also indicates that the device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
No other details about the unannounced smartphone are available as of now.
Earlier this year, Vivo launched its X7 and X7 Plus smartphones in China. Both handsets share almost similar specifications, except for the display size and battery capacity. Vivo X7 has a 5.2-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution and 3,000mAh battery, while the Vivo X7 Plus has a 5.7-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution and a 4,000mAh battery.
In terms of specifications, both smartphones are powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. They run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS topped with Vivo's Funtouch UI.
For imaging duties, both X7 and X7 Plus boast a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 16MP front shooter (with LED flash) for selfies. Having 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as major connectivity options, the smartphones come with fingerprint sensor as well.
