Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) now received WiFi certification
As per WiFi certification, there will be two variants of the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), one comes with Single-SIM (SM-A520F), while other one has dual-SIM (SM-A520F/DS) and will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
As per earlier listings, Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a 1.87 GHz octa core Samsung Exynos 7880 processor, which is paired with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow operating system. On Geekbench, the phone got 817 in single-core test and 4692 in multi-core test.
As per reports, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) said to have 16 GB of internal storage, 13-megapixel primary camera, and a 3000 mAh battery.
The Galaxy A5 (2017) will succeed the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) which was launched in India in February this year at Rs 29,400. It offers a 5.2 inch S AMOLED display with full high definition resolution. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor, Mali-T830 MP2 GPU and 2 GB RAM. It offers 16 GB of internal memory and a 128 GB micro SD card slot. The A5 (2016) offers 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. Both the front and rear cameras of the phone have f1.9 aperture. The rear cameras of the phone also have Optical Image Stabilisation feature. The phone has a 2900 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor and 4G connectivity.
