Samsung updates Galaxy S7 and S7 edge with some Galaxy Note 7 features
Samsung mentions that Always-on Display now takes less than 1% of your phone’s battery per hour, which should encourage more users to keep it enabled on their S7 or S7 edge. It’s not confirmed if the update is seeding globally yet, but be sure to check out Galaxy Apps on your compatible Samsung phones to check for a pending update.
Galaxy Apps is Samsung’s dedicated app-hub for its exclusive apps and features. We can expect more features from the Galaxy Note 7 to make its way to the early 2016 Galaxy flagships. While some of them are hardware dependent (S Pen apps), most of them like always-on display can find a home in older Samsung devices as well.
